Day 58 - Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 – At Sea
I have not yet mastered this website maintenance thing 100%. You all of a sudden woke up to several new entries. It turns out I had the pages all finished they just were not linked to the home page. Once I turned on the linkage all of a sudden they appeared. So now you are several days behind. How do you like that?
In hindsight, this day kind of shows the routine we've gotten into. We both did breakfast. I don't remember exactly what we ate but it was definitely not out of the norm. Mary had an acupuncture appointment at 11:00. I went out on 7 and pushed while she was at her appointment. We signed up for the 1:30 poker tournament. I did poorly. Mary made it into the money for the first time. She finished third. By time we were done with poker it was already 330. We came back to the room and chilled for a couple of hours before going to dinner. We both had the chicken soup which was good. We both had the chopped salad. Actually, Mary had a double serving. She had chicken scallopini. I had their version of pad Thai. Mary liked the chicken. The pad Thai was OK. It was not as good as you would get in Chicago or decent Thai restaurant, but it was good. Mary had a sorbet. I had the brie and gouda plate. This is obviously the shortest entry so far. I do this because I am behind in my log so I'm trying to catch up. More importantly it shows the routine that we have gotten into. We're actually at the halfway point of our trip. This is hard to imagine because it's gone so quickly. When I look back at the 100 and some pages or 55,000 words I have written I realize we have accomplished quite a bit and we're only halfway through. Hopefully you are enjoying this, if you were still reading. Drop me a note and let me know that you've made it this far. I will do my best to catch up soon.
