Day 24 - Tuesday, January 28, 2025 – At Sea

Because we had nowhere to be, we slept in a little bit. Made it to breakfast by 10:00. We had the same breakfast as always. We made our way back to the room. Mary had an appointment for her nails, so she left for that. I found out that I can play poker stars from the ship, so I played in a tournament for a couple of hours. I actually made some money for a change - play money. I then worked on the log for a while before Mary came back. It was perfect outside so I decided to go down on 7 and push outside for a while. It ended opening almost 2 hours outside. Mary did all kinds of odds and ends while up in the room. I pushed pretty much nonstop. It felt good to get out there again. I'm not the only one with this exercise on the brain idea. There are a lot of people they use 7 for their walking. Unfortunately, we cannot go completely around this ship. They have one section blocked off for some unknown reason. It doesn't bother me, because I stay on one side of the ship and go back and forth. Today happened to be the port side, for no real reason. Mary came down at 4:00 and got me. We came back up to the room. We decided we would leave for dinner at 6:00 so they'll give us a couple of hours.

On the way to dinner, yes, we stopped at a picture spot. We can't possibly get within 100 feet of a picture taking spot without getting our pictures taken. Dinner was pretty uneventful. I had a glass of Zinfandel. I think I had it previously. I didn't think I liked it then either. Nonetheless, I drank it. We both had salads. We both had baked ziti pasta. I had the appetizer's size and Mary had the full dinner size. The pasta was pretty good. It was like lasagna with a different noodle. I had flounder and shrimp which was really good. Mary had vegan chocolate ice cream. I had strawberry sorbet. It was a nice dinner. We were in and out, in about an hour.

We walked by the casino, no one was playing cards, so we walked by. We made our way to the bar on the other side of the casino. They were playing games of some sort. I kind of half paid attention. I ordered an Angel’s Envy shot. At 9:30 we came back upstairs. I answered some emails and updated the Booker statistics sheet. I did a little research on Potential excursions. Because we gained another hour tonight, I didn't want to go to bed too early because then I lay there and stare at the ceiling. I will wait until midnight before calling it the day. Another successful day.
